Get Loans for Historic Preservation


If you're looking at purchasing or rehabilitating a historic property In The Bromo then you should check out this opportunity from the Maryland Historical Trust (MHT)

MHT is a division of the Maryland Department of Planning and they're accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2017 and 2018 capital loans There's about $600,000 available in this loan pool and you must close on the loan by June 30, 2018.

Whose eligible?

Non-Profits and Local Jurisdictions

Businesses and individuals can apply if the project serves a high public purpose.

What can the loans be used for?

These loans can be used for the acquisition, refinancing, rehabilitation or restoration of historic properties, with loan terms up to twenty years. A perpetual preservation easement must be conveyed to MHT on any assisted property.
